Ok, whoever is sending out and forwarding all these emails that say that Barak Obama is the anti-Christ–PLEASE STOP! If you read this blog much, you know that I take great pains not to campaign for any political candidates. If you read this blog much, you will also know that everyone who contributes here is firmly pro-life and so you can probably guess what concerns me most about Barack Obama is his stance on abortion, especially his consistently pro-choice stance that even led him to vote against the ban on partial birth abortion!
However, I am not worried that Barack Obama is the antichrist. I don’t think he is secretly a muslim. And, I don’t think he hates white people. When “Christians” say those things, we are at best slandering someone we actually know very little about, and at worst, we make ourselves out to be bold-faced liars!
Talk about the issues. Blog about Obama’s stance on abortion, or his lack of executive experience if you want. But, stop spreading rumors and lies; it just makes you look like a nut-job.
And stop acting as if the world is coming to an end just because Obama might be our next president! Things may change if Obama takes the office, but the last time I checked, salvation does not come through the political system but by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ–no politician can take away anyone’s hope and joy in Christ!

I received one this week that compared Barack Obama to the enemy spoken of in Isaiah 59:19 and compared Sarah Palin to Deborah–the Old Testament Judge! Did you know that in Hebrew, Sarah means “noble woman” and in Greek, Palin means “renewal”? Did you also know that the meaning of Sarah Palin’s name has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not she is fit for public office?
Again, I am not campaigning for anyone here. If you know me, you know how ardently I oppose those who would approve the continued murder of unborn babies in our country. Just cut out the Barack Obama slander and stop acting like Sarah Palin can solve all our problems–neither are true and neither are helpful!
It wasn’t an e-mail (yet), but I have seen a plethora of blog posts about Obama’s mother and the nude photos that were taken of her in the 50’s. The bloggers argue that the photographer is Frank Marshall Davis and that he is Obama’s true father.
Well said. It’s time that those who hold to the infallible, inerrant Word of God stop panicking over nothing and trust God for their life and future. As I recall, God wins in the end of Revelation!!
